Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has revised the preliminary antidumping (AD) duty on certain hollow structural section imports from Thailand. The preliminary antidumping rates now range from 5.7 percent to 29.7 percent. The former preliminary antidumping (AD) duty ranging from 12.4 percent to 30.6 percent was imposed in March this year.

The antidumping duty investigation was launched in July 2014 upon the application lodged by Australia-based Austube Mills Pty. Ltd. The new level of securities will be valid after June 1, 2015, while the final recommendation in relation to this investigation will be announced on or before July 13, 2015.

The products subject to preliminary duty currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7306.30.00, 7306.50.00, 7306.61.00 and 7306.69.00.
