Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated a review regarding the antidumping (AD) duty on imports of certain hot rolled structural steel sections from South Korea to examine whether the variable factors relevant to the taking of the antidumping measures have changed.

The review launched upon the application lodged by Australia-based OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd covers the period between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 and covers all exporters of the goods exported to Australia from South Korea.

The antidumping duties were originally imposed in November 20, 2014 and stand at 2.52 percent for Hyundai Steel Company and 3.24 percent for uncooperative exporters.

The products subject to antidumping review currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7216.31.00, 7216.32.00, 7216.33.00, 7216.40.00 and 7228.70.00.
