Argentina’s auto output falls 10.2 percent in February from January

Argentina’s auto production output in February this year totaled 24,036 units, falling by 10.2 percent month on month and down 29.7 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
 
According to Adefa, in February Argentinian auto exports increased by 32.6 percent compared to the previous month and were down by 8.8 percent compared to February last year to 12,931 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in February totaled 65,274, increasing by 23.5 percent month on month and growing by 25.8 percent year on year.
 
The nation’s automotive industry produced 51,959 units in the January-February period of this year, 2.2 percent less than the same period of last year. In the same period, exports rose to 22,685 units, up 25.6 percent year on year.
