The largest Bulgarian steel producer Kremikovtzi has announced that the world's biggest steelmaker ArcelorMittal has issued a €30 million emergency fund as a part of its proposals for the mill's acquisition.

A part of this fund will be used for the payment of salaries to the mill's employees and for the clearance of all environmental capital expenditure needs of the company. The remaining part of the fund will be used for purchases of raw materials and other needs of the mill.

However, as a Kremikovtzi representative emphasized to SteelOrbis, the mill has yet not accepted either of the two proposals made to it, i.e. from ArcelorMittal on the one hand and from Vorskla Steel Bulgaria EOOD on the other .
