Arcelor Sections announces base price increase

Arcelor Sections Commercial, taking the market situation and the increase in manufacturing costs into account, decided to increase its base prices for August shipments, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the base prices of small and medium sections will be increased by €20 per ton, while heavy sections will be subject to a base price increase of €30 per ton, effective for shipments as of August 1, 2005.
