Arcelor considers buying Polish factory

Luxembourg-based steel producer Arcelor confirmed that it is negotiating with the Lucchini group regarding the takeover of the Italian steelmaker's Polish subsidiary, Huta Warszawa. Meanwhile, as reported by SteelOrbis last week, Lucchini Group sold 62% of its shares to Russian steel producer Severstal.
