Ansteel inks cooperation agreement with China CNR Corporation

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (Ansteel) inked a strategic cooperation agreement with China CNR Corporation on March 16, according to which they will give priority to using each other's products and services, as announced by Ansteel on March 17. China CNR Corporation is a state-owned manufacturer of locomotives and rolling stock.

China CNR Corporation has been purchasing finished steel from Ansteel since 2000, with the total volume of finished steel purchases up to the present exceeding 2 million mt.
