On March 4, Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Magang Group announced that 380 mt of its hot dip galvanized steel sheet and cold rolled sheet used in automobile manufacture were shipped from Changshu port in Jiangsu Province on February 23 in the direction of Europe, marking the first shipment of Magang's auto sheet products to the European market.
Last year, Magang received a trial order for 380 mt of the products in question from a Spanish company via traders in Europe. The Spanish customer said it will book more products from Magang in the future if satisfied with the trial shipment.
