Ansteel granted trademark for cold rolling technology

According to local newspaper Liaoning Dilay, on November 26 Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (Ansteel) received approval from China's General Bureau of Commerce to register its cold rolling control system technology as a trademark - the first such trademark to be received by Ansteel.

Currently, Ansteel is building a production base for high quality steel with an initial annual capacity of 5 million mt in Anshan, Liaoning. The steelmaker targets an eventual annual capacity of 16 milllion mt of high quality flat steel products.
