In January this year, Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Ansteel exported 190,000 mt of steel products, increasing by approximately 100 percent year on year.
According to data on the province's key exporting enterprises recorded by Liaoning Taxation Bureau, the four leading steel exporting companies in Liaoning in January were Ansteel, Benxi Steel Plate Co., Benxi Beiying Iron and Steel and Fushun Special Steel, which together registered an overall increase of 70 percent year on year in exports in the month in question, with Benxi Steel Plate Co.'s exports increasing by 4.1 times year on year.
