Anshan Steel’s iron ore output exceeds target in H1

Anshan Mining Industrial Development, subsidiary of Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Anshan Steel Group, announced that the aggregate output of iron ore and iron ore concentrate in the first half of 2011 reached 114.16 million mt, exceeding 12.85 million mt than the company's target for the period.
 
In H1, the company's production cost of iron ore concentrate was RMB 590/mt ($91.2/mt), up RMB 80/mt ($12.4/mt) than H1 2010.
