Bazhou, Xinjiang to produce 5.08 million mt of iron ore concentrate in 2012

5.08 million mt of iron ore concentrate is planned to be produced in the city of Bazhou in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in 2012, according to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

Accordingly, the county of Hejing in Bazhou will produce 3.63 million mt of iron ore concentrate in the given year, accounting for 71.4 percent of the total output of the city, while the county of Qiangxian will produce 800,000 mt of iron ore concentrate, accounting for 15.7 percent of the total. The counties of Qiemo and Werili will produce 350,000 mt and 300,000 mt respectively in the current year, accounting for 6.8 percent and 6.1 percent shares of the total.
