Baogang’s Baiyun mine sees record monthly iron ore output in May

In May this year, the Baiyun mine of Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel producer Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) recorded a total iron ore output of 3.84 million mt, equivalent to 100.52 percent of the production target for the given month, according to local media sources. The iron ore output from Baiyun mine in May constituted a record monthly production volume, exceeding the 3.7849 million mt produced in April, which was also a record monthly output.

Meanwhile, in May a total of 1.09 million mt of iron ore was delivered from Baiyun mine to Baogang Group, equivalent to 106.91 percent of the planned delivery volume, satisfying the company's requirement for iron ore.
