Annual inflation rate in Turkey stands at 15.85 percent in July

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in July this year the consumer price index (CPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 0.55 percent month on month, while annual inflation reached 15.85 percent.

Among the main product groups, the highest increases were seen in the restaurants and hotels group, with a rise of 2.26 percent on month-on-month basis, and in transportation, up 24.21 percent on year-on-year basis.
