Annual inflation rate in Turkey reaches 15.72 percent in June

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in June the consumer price index (CPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 0.03 percent month on month, while annual inflation reached 15.72 percent.

Among the main product groups, the highest month-on-month increase was seen in the hotels, cafes and restaurants with 2.65 percent, while the highest year-on-year increase was registered in miscellaneous goods and services with 26.88 percent.
