Altai-Koks to supply coke to DMKD

The Russian coke producer Altai-Koks - a subsidiary of Russian steelmaker NLMK - has announced the conclusion of a coke supply deal with Ukrainian steel producer "Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky" (DMKD).

Under the terms of agreement Altai-Koks will supply 280,000 metric tons of coke to DMKD in 2007.

Currently, Altai-Koks supplies 55 percent of its produced coke to export markets, primarily to Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
