AK Steel hikes stainless steel prices
According to the statement released by AK Steel, the company will increase gauge and width extras for certain 200, 300 and 400 series stainless steel sheet products effective for shipments as of September 13, 2004. Moreover, slitting extras for stainless steel pipe and tube-quality strip will be revised. Accordingly, prices of light gauge stainless steel products of AK Steel will increase by 3-6%.AK Steel hikes stainless steel prices
