Mexican integrated steelmaker Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) was awarded a trustworthy slab supplier certification from Grupo Villacero, AHMSA said.

The certification was granted following an audit of AHMSA’s hot rolling mill processes, in which certain quality and services requirements were met.

AHMSA provides Mexico’s Grupo Villacero slab for use in a number of downstream applications, including gas and oil pipes, all under the API standards.
