Accident at South African Iscor

SteelOrbis is reported that South African steel producer Iscor had an accident which resulted in a production loss of about 8'000 mts during the month of December 2003. As per the latest reports from the company, the problem is now fixed and the production level is expected to come back to normal soon. The company recently announced its expectancy of a 30% decrease in net profit for the second half of fiscal 2003.
