A new stainless steel factory to build in Tiangsan

Tiangsan Stainless Steel Corp. Ltd. Located in Hebei province of China has announced that, it has started to build a factory by the end of July 2003. Construction of 1.2 million tons per year stainless steel factory is expected to cost around Yuan 6 billion ($725million). The cost of the construction of the factory is financed by five Chinese investors, including Tainggang Steel Corp, Kailuang Steel Corp, Jinghua Pipe Corp. Construction of the factory will be realized in four phases and the factory is planned to start operating by 2006.
