“Everything is flattening out and slowing, as per usual in Q4,” a source said. “Though I think it’s a bit more pronounced than most people thought it would be.”

However, lead times for import arrivals, he added, have finally pushed out past the first of the year, which has started to renew interest in booking offshore.

In terms of import pricing from Taiwan, that has once again remained stable week-over-week and continues to hold at $41.00-$42.50 cwt. ($904-$937/mt or $820-$850/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf coast ports.
