Turkish hollow section prices have remained unchanged over the past week, with pipe producers largely keeping their offers at previous levels. Demand in the domestic market has continued to move at a slow pace, with only limited and mostly necessary purchases taking place, while the export side has also remained quiet, falling short of providing any real support to sales. Despite this subdued environment, pipe producers have not come under strong pressure to revise their prices, as cost dynamics have remained relatively stable. In particular, the lack of any notable movement in HRC and scrap prices has allowed them to hold their ground, enabling prices to remain in line with last week’s levels, even as overall market activity stays weak.
Reflecting the overall stability in the market, domestic hollow section prices in Turkey have remained at $695-725/mt ex-works over the past week, showing no change compared to the previous week.
Similarly, in the export segment, offer levels have been largely unchanged, with prices still heard at $690-710/mt FOB, indicating a stable trend week on week.
