Independence, Maruichi Leavitt follow Atlas Tube’s HSS price increase

Independence Tube and Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube announced Monday that they will raise prices for hollow structural sections (HSS) by $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective with shipments starting November 4.

The move follows Atlas Tube’s increase letter released Friday, which announced a $2.00 cwt. HSS price increase effective November 4.
