SteelOrbis has confirmed that both Atlas and Nucor have joined Bull Moose Tube in announcing plans to raise spot market prices for HSS tubing $7.50 cwt ($165/mt or $150/nt), effective with all new orders.
Prior to today's flurry of price increase announcements, the average spot market price for this product was trending at approximately $76.50 cwt. ($1,687/mt or $1,530/nt), FOB mill.
