Domestic and Italian suppliers to Spain's seamless pipe market have been keeping their prices stable. Meanwhile, Chinese pipemakers have reduced their offers on average by €15-20/mt over the past month. Ukrainian seamless pipe suppliers, who were boldly raising their offer prices one month ago, have failed to receive support from Spanish buyers. As a result, import quotations of Ukrainian 8"-12" seamless pipes have dropped again in the past month, by €90-110/mt. During the coming one-month period buyer activity in Spain promises to be weak and there are no reasons to expect any price changes.
Domestic quotations of Spanish seamless pipes 2"-4" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L produced by Tubos Reunidos are in the range €1,250-1,310/mt via traders, with quotations of 6" pipes at €1,130-1,140/mt, and 8" pipes standing in the range of €1,380-1,400/mt.
Offers of seamless precision cold-formed 25-35 mm pipes with 3 mm wall thickness of E235 grade made to EN 10305-1/EN 10305-4, used by the automotive industry, are being given on average at €2,110-2,170/mt ex-works, offers of 18-28 mm pipes with 2.0 mm wall thickness are standing at €2,340-2,400/mt ex-works, with offers of 18-28 mm pipes with 1.5 mm wall thickness at €2,420-2,470/mt ex-works.
Offers of Chinese seamless pipes 2"-6" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L are being given at €535-570/mt C&F, excluding antidumping duties.
Quotations of Ukrainian seamless pipes 2"-6" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L are at €770-810/mt DDU, while quotations of 8"-12" pipes are at €850-900/mt DDU. Prices are exclusive of the 25.1 percent antidumping duty.
Prices of Italian seamless pipes 2"-4" grade B made to ASTM A106/API 5L for the Spanish market are about €1,320-1,380/mt CPT or €1,360-1,420/mt C&F.
