SteelOrbis has been informed that Ukrainian pig iron export offers stand at $510-515/mt FOB for October shipments. However, slightly lower offers are also available in the market.

This week, some Turkish steel producers have opened pig iron purchase tenders. Bids for these tenders are expected to become clear next week. During the one-week-long Ramadan holiday last week, an ex-Ukraine pig iron transaction for 10,000 mt to Turkey was concluded at the price level of $520-525/mt CFR, SteelOrbis has learned.
