Turkey’s ship scrap market still stable after a month

Since September 8, Turkey’s domestic ship scrap purchase prices have remained unchanged. The general price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is still in the range of $430-446/mt and scrap flow is good. However, with the rising trend observed in the deep sea scrap segment, Turkish mills may decide to revise their ship sea scrap quotations accordingly, some market players state.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
