Tokyo Bay FAS-based scrap prices move sideways

The Tokyo Bay FAS-based prices for H2 grade scrap have remained stable since last week at JPY 48,500/mt ($304/mt). The FOB-based export price remains at JPY 49,500/mt ($310/mt) for the grade in question. 

The Tokyo Bay HS grade scrap prices have also moved sideways, at JPY 53,000/mt ($332/mt) FAS, but shindachi grade scrap quotations have increased by JPY 500/mt week on week to JPY 54,000/mt ($339/mt) FAS.

Meanwhile, Japanese HS grade scrap is offered to Vietnam at $405/mt CFR, sources report.
