Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 48

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 500/mt ($8/mt) to INR 22,900/mt ($370/mt) ex-yard over the past week, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 1,700/mt ($27/mt) over the same period, to INR 26,000/mt ($420/mt) ex-yard.
