According to market sources, HMS I/II scrap offers from Lebanon to Turkey are currently in the range of $230-235/mt CFR. Meanwhile, no new deals have been heard at this price range yet. Buyers in Turkey's Iskenderun region have been seeking lower prices, while Lebanese scrap suppliers are unwilling to reduce their prices against the backdrop of low export volumes of scrap.
