Japanese H2 domestic scrap

On February 25, SteelOrbis reported domestic H2 scrap prices in Japan at mini-mills in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya at JPY 31,600-31,900/mt ($284-287/mt) while shindachi scrap was reported at JPY 36,400-36,800/mt ($327-331/mt), all prices delivered to customer.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices have increased again this week and are reportedly at JPY 32,100-32,400/mt ($289-292/mt) for H2 scrap and JPY 37,000-37,400/mt ($333-337/mt), all prices delivered to customer.

H2 scrap increased $5/mt while shindachi scrap increased $6/mt compared to the previous range.
