India’s domestic DRI prices trend up

On July 9, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic DRI prices down at INR 15,800-16,100/mt ($230-235/mt ex-Raipur (east-central India).

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are now reportedly up at INR 16,800-17,000/mt ($244-247/mt) ex-Raipur. Prices have increased by $14/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $12/mt from the top of the same range. A source noted a tighter supply of DRI in the spot market.
