On April 23, SteelOrbis reported ex-India DRI (sponge lumps 80 FeM) offers to Bangladesh at $330-332/mt CFR.
Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices have ticked down to $319-322/mt CFR, down $11/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the top of the same range. With improved domestic DRI prices, along with stronger iron ore and global scrap import prices, a source noted the possibility of improved prices to the export market. Bangladesh is presently categorized as a bearish market.
