India’s domestic DRI offers continue downtrend

On November 29, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic DRI prices at INR 20,500-21,000/mt ($294-301/mt) ex-Raipur.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices have continued trending down over the past month and are now reportedly at INR 18,800-19,000/mt ($270-273/mt) ex-Raipur. The prices have decreased by $24/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $28/mt from the top of the same range. A source noted that it is the lowest price level in the past 12 months.
