On August 29, SteelOrbis reported that containerized shredded scrap offers to Bangladesh from the UK and EU were seeking to increase by $5/mt to $355-360/mt CFR from the previously reported level of $350-355/mt CFR on August 27.

Sources inform SteelOrbis today that Indian containerized shredded scrap import prices were successful at trending up and are reportedly now on offer at $355-365/mt CFR with the upper end of the range increasing by $5/mt towards the end of the week as the market seeks to take advantage of the global upturn that was supported by the deal prices established in recent Turkish buys.

Containerized HMS I/II 80:20 imported scrap offers from the same regions are reportedly at $330-340/mt CFR.
