SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 9,300-10,000/mt ($284-305/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) over the past week to NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,084-1,160/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-March shipments.
