Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 6

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 1,100/mt ($39/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,500-13,200/mt ($449-474/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 2,000/mt ($71/mt) over the past week to NTD 49,500-52,000/mt ($1,779-1,869/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early March shipments.
