Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 42

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,700-12,400/mt ($419-444/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 5,000/mt ($179/mt) over the past week to NTD 54,500-57,000/mt ($1,955-2,045/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early November shipments.
