Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 37

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 8,100-8,400/mt ($270-280/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 35,000-38,000/mt ($1,165-1,265/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September-early October shipments.
