Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 26, 2023

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by INR 400/mt over the past week to NTD 10,700-11,400/mt ($344-367/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by INR 1,500/mt over the past week to NTD 38,500-41,000/mt ($1,240-1,319/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of July shipments.
