SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,700-9,400/mt ($264-285/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) over the past week to NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,108-1,184/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-February shipments.
