SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 7,100-7,400/mt ($234-244/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 32,000-34,000/mt ($1,053-1,119/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early August shipments.
