SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($291-312/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) over the past week to NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,090-1,165/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.
