SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,300-9,000/mt ($264-286/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 30,000-32,500/mt ($954-1,034/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late January shipments.
