SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($291-312/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,077-1,153/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.
