SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($292-313/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,080-1,156/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late March-early April shipments.
