Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 36

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 8,300-8,600/mt ($276-286/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 1,000/mt on the lower end over the past week to NTD 34,500-37,500/mt ($1,147-1,247/mt) ex-yard.

 The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late September shipments.

 $1 = NTD 30.08
