SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a steel producer in Izmir in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod have been issued at $605/mt ex-works, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade have been set at $705/mt ex-works.
In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $620/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $720/mt delivered to Istanbul. Its offers have increased by $5/mt for all grades against the backdrop of the firm import scrap prices. All prices are as compared to the offers seen on Wednesday, November 12.
The mill has also hiked its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade price by $5/mt to $585/mt, while also raising its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade-2A price by $5/mt to $575/mt ex-works in Izmir, as compared to November 12.
All the above prices exclude 20 percent VAT and are for cash payments.
