Wire rod prices in Taiwanese domestic market – week 40

The new wire rod prices in the local Taiwanese steel market are at the following levels:

Medium carbon 5.5-12 mm	NTD 22,500-23,500/mt ($768-802/mt)
High carbon 5.5-12 mm	NTD 22,500-23,500/mt ($768-802/mt)
Low alloyed 5.5-12 mm	NTD 24,500-25,000/mt ($836-853/mt)
CHQ 5.5-32 mm	NTD 23,500-24,000/mt ($802-819/mt)

 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are also delivered to customer. The prices, which have not registered any significant changes since last week, are for shipments in early and mid-October.
