Taiwanese mill CSC reduces its domestic long steel prices

Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that it has decreased its domestic long steel product prices by NTD 1,800/mt ($60/mt) for October and November shipments. The new prices are at the following levels:

Low carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 23,577-23,680/mt ($787-791/mt)

Medium/high carbon WR 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 23,500-23,630/mt ($785-789/mt)

Alloyed wire rod 5.5-12.0 mm

NTD 24,177-25,190/mt ($807-841/mt)

CHQ wire rod 5.5-32.0 mm

NTD 23,877-24,030/mt ($797-802/mt)

The above prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis, and exclusive of VAT.
